As a marginalised group, LGBT people were at a greater risk in the Covid19 pandemic.
Many LGBT people were locked down in abusive relationships, or separated from support systems, community members struggled to get the mental health support, trans treatments and HIV medications. Safe spaces came under threat of closure… freedoms that were fought for were jeopardised.
LGBT people and their allies were unable to take to the streets in the summer of 2020… so we enabled them to #comeoutforLGBT on the UKs biggest screen.
